Terms of service
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and TurboUGC LLC, a New York limited liability company ("TurboUGC", "we"), for the TurboUGC app, website, iPhone app, browser extension and editing service. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to them.
Who can use TurboUGC
- You must be at least 18, and able to enter a contract where you live.
- You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account secure. You're responsible for what happens on your TurboUGC account.
- One person per account. Don't share it or resell access to it.
Plans and payment
- Editing only has no subscription: you buy video credits as you need them, from 1 at a time.
- Plans renew automatically. Plus and Max are billed monthly or every 3 months, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. There are no free trials.
- Upgrades apply straight away, and the difference for the rest of the period is charged then. Downgrades and switches between monthly and quarterly apply at the end of the current period.
- Cancel anytime from Plan & billing → Manage subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then you're on Editing only.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Early adopter prices are limited to a set number of seats and aren't open to accounts that have had a plan before. The early price lasts while that subscription stays active and is lost when the plan ends.
- Promo codes apply only as described when you use them.
- Refunds and credits are covered by our refund policy, which is part of these terms.
Video credits
- One credit is one edited video. Credits never expire, whether you bought them or got them free.
- Free credits are used before purchased ones.
- If your balance goes below zero (for example after a correction), you can't send new work until it's back above zero. If your plan ends with a negative balance, we charge the card on file for what's owed, at your plan's price per video.
How editing works
- You send footage, a brief and references as a ticket. Our editors, who may be outside your country, cut your videos from what you send.
- The first version of each video is due within 24 hours of reaching our editors. The clock pauses while a ticket is on hold waiting on you, and starts again when you answer. If a first version is late, its credits come back to you automatically. Revisions don't have a set deadline.
- Every video gets 2 free revision rounds. From the 3rd round on, each video sent back uses 1 video credit.
- Delivered videos you don't answer are approved automatically 3 days after delivery. We email you a day before. You can take back an approval within 24 hours.
- A ticket is archived 7 days after all its videos are approved, which is your last chance to ask for changes. Raw footage is deleted 30 days after archiving. Finished videos are kept.
- If a ticket was filed with the wrong number or type of videos, an editor can correct it. Any extra videos are charged straight away. You have 48 hours to dispute a correction, and if we agree with you, the credits come back.
- You can cancel a ticket until an editor is assigned to it, and its credits come back in full. After that it can't be cancelled.
- If an editor leaves while one of your revisions is open, you choose whether another editor re-does it or those videos are refunded in credits. If you don't choose within 3 days, another editor re-does it.
Your content
- You keep ownership of the footage you upload and the finished videos we deliver. Our editors assign their rights in your videos to us, and we pass them to you.
- You give us permission to store, copy, edit and process your content only to provide the service (editing, transcription, scheduling, posting, your portfolio).
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, logos, product footage and anyone who appears on camera.
- Your portfolio page is public once you publish it. Unpublish it anytime.
- A review link you share lets anyone who has it see and approve your finished videos, without signing in. Only share it with people you trust.
Brand deals, posting and automations
- You're responsible for following each brand's brief and each platform's rules, including clearly disclosing paid partnerships (for example #ad) as the FTC requires.
- TurboUGC doesn't take part in your brand deals or handle money between you and brands. The Finances pages only help you track what brands owe you.
- Brand deals shared in our Discord community come from the brands. We don't guarantee you'll be accepted, paid, or earn any amount.
- Auto-Post and Auto-DM act on social accounts you connect, through our posting partner. Auto Warm-Up is a browser extension that scrolls, likes and saves posts on accounts you're signed in to, on up to 2 devices. Platforms can limit or suspend accounts for automated activity. You use these tools at your own risk, and we aren't responsible for actions a platform takes.
- Auto-Post, Auto-DM, campaigns and Auto Warm-Up are part of Plus and Max. If you downgrade or your plan ends, campaigns over your new limit are removed (their data is kept), their queued posts are cancelled, and DM automations are paused.
- TurboUGC relies on social platforms and other services we don't control. If one of them changes or stops working, a feature may change or stop too.
What you can't do
- Upload anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Use TurboUGC to spam, mislead viewers, or break a platform's terms.
- Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or the extension.
- Harass our editors or anyone else using TurboUGC.
Ending your account
You can stop using TurboUGC anytime, and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can. Work already sent is finished as normal unless the account was closed for abuse.
No guarantees
TurboUGC is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and on time, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that your content will reach any number of views or earn any amount. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost deals, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Questions? Email support@turbougc.app.
