Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: your name and email (and profile photo, with Google) from Google or Apple when you sign in.
• Billing: your plan, credits, invoices and payment history. Card details go straight to Stripe; we only see the last 4 digits and expiry.
• Your content: footage, briefs, references and finished videos you upload or we deliver, and what you put on your portfolio.
• What you keep in the app: your campaigns, brand deals and what brands owe you, planner, scripts, to-dos, time tracking, saved videos, watchlist and transcriptions. We store these on our servers so they follow you between devices.
• Connected accounts: when you connect a social account for posting or Auto-DM, the access the platform grants, and the posts, stats, comments and messages needed to run those tools.
• Public social data: the public posts and view counts of the accounts you add (yours and any creators you watch), to show your stats and inspiration.
• Support messages you send us.
• Usage: logs of how the app is used (pages, errors, device, browser and IP address) to keep it working and secure.

How we use it

• To run the service: edit your videos, schedule and post them, send automated DMs you set up, sync your stats, and show your portfolio.
• To check raw clips have speech in them and to transcribe audio you ask us to.
• To bill you and keep your credits right.
• To email you about your account, deliveries, approvals and important changes.
• To keep TurboUGC secure and fix problems.

Who we share it with

• Our editors, who may be outside your country, see the footage, brief and references for the videos they edit. They are bound to keep them confidential and use them only for your edits.
• Running the app: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google and Apple (sign-in) and Resend (email).
• Social accounts: Zernio (connecting accounts, posting, DMs and stats) and the social platforms you connect.
• Video tools: ScrapeCreators (public posts and view counts), Deepgram (transcription and speech checks), Anthropic (AI used by Auto Warm-Up and to read on-screen text), Typesafe (AI that sorts videos into formats) and Google Drive (our editors' working files).
• These providers process data only to run their part of TurboUGC for us.
• When you load the app, your browser also fetches fonts from Google Fonts, video tools from jsDelivr and profile pictures from unavatar.io, so those services see your IP address.
• Anyone the law requires us to share with, or to protect people's safety or our rights.
• Everything on a published portfolio is public, by your choice. A review link you share shows your finished videos to anyone who has it.

Auto Warm-Up (Chrome extension)

• What it reads: only pages on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook that it opens for a session you start. On those pages it reads the post on screen: its caption, link, and a small still frame of the video.
• What it does there: it scrolls, watches, and likes or saves posts that match your niche keywords, using the social account you're already signed in to. It never reads your messages, passwords or other browsing.
• What it sends us: your keywords, and a record of each session (which posts it watched, skipped, liked or saved, with their captions and thumbnails), so you can see it on the Warmup page.
• AI matching: to tell whether a post fits your niche, it sends that post's caption and a still frame to Anthropic's Claude. Anthropic processes this for us and doesn't use it to train its models.
• Your devices: it works on up to 2 devices. For each we keep a label such as "Chrome on macOS" and when it was last used.
• Stored on your computer: your settings, and which posts it has already liked or saved, so it never undoes them.
• Limited use: we use this data only to run Auto Warm-Up and show you your sessions. We don't sell it, use it for ads, or let people read it except to fix a problem you report.

If you edit for TurboUGC

• When you sign the Editor Agreement we keep your legal name, email, country, payout currency, the signed copy, and the date, time, IP address and device you signed from, as a record of the agreement.
• We also keep your shifts, time online, idle time, strikes, pay and payouts, and give your email access to our shared Google Drive while you work with us.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to bring you back to the right page after signing in or connecting an account. The app also saves your settings in your browser so pages load quickly. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

• Account data, for as long as your account is open.
• Raw footage, until 30 days after its ticket is archived. Finished videos are kept so you can download and repost them.
• Usage logs, 30 days. Cached public social data, 7 days.
• Billing records and signed agreements, as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require, even after an account is deleted.

Your choices

• See, download, correct or delete your data, or delete your account. Email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
• Disconnect a social account anytime in the app, which stops all posting and DMs on it.
• Unpublish your portfolio anytime.
• Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have further rights; contact us to use them.

Where your data goes

TurboUGC is based in the United States, and our service providers mostly store data there. Our editors may work from other countries, such as the Philippines, and see the footage for the videos they edit there.

Security

We protect your data with access controls and encryption in transit, and we limit who on our side can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your Google account or Apple ID safe too.

Changes and contact

TurboUGC is for people 18 and over and isn't meant for children. We may update this policy and will tell you about meaningful changes. Questions or requests? Email support@turbougc.app.
